FOAGroup.com allows users to create online accounts, either as a guest or a verified retailer. As a guest, access is allowed to save and/or share products either through a saved list or through email. Individual products may also be shared through social media sites (such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.). Any sharing through FOAgroup.com to these other media channels constitutes the right and permission to FOA to review and use any post. Any content or information posted by any user does not represent FOA or any of its affiliate organization. Any use of such social media services is under subject to the terms and policies of the respective social media site.
A user may also elect to create a retailer account, separate from his or her business account with FOA. A retailer account requires a verification process including proof of business permit, license or other valid, legal documents as required by FOA. These documents must be provided at the time of registration. The retailer account offers the same access as the guest account, with additional services directly aimed towards business holders. This allows placing orders, checking inventory status, pricing, as well as access to online sales and promotion. Each sales order is confirmed by a sales representative via a phone confirmation process with the user.
It is common practice for companies to track guest behaviors across its online properties. FOA reserves the right to receive and use web IP addresses in an effort to help improve the quality of FOA’s website. Information gathered on the website is non-identifiable to any specific user or entity. The cumulative data of all visitors (and not each data point) will be used by system administrators to offer a better online experience to visitors of the site.
Identifiable information such as your name and email address will be used solely for the purpose they are intended for—that is, in most cases, to address the user in direct communication with FOA. Special offers and promotions also constitutes to the use of such information, as well as subscription to the FOA newsletter, at the user’s consent in the form of an opt-out checkbox during registration. Creating an account will allow FOA to tailor its services to the user, and will, in most cases, expedite process and business transactions.
FEEDBACK AND THIRD PARTIES
FOA appreciates all feedback regarding its website. Any feedback or comments sent to FOA shall become and remain the exclusive property of FOA. FOA reserves the right to share your feedback with FOA personnel or designated third parties of our choosing in order to improve our services. Such companies may also collect personal information directly from you in connection with providing their services, and they will have the right to provide that personal information to us. Some information or services requested may be provided on behalf of FOA by affiliated businesses or agents. These other companies may not use your private or personal information for purposes other than providing services through or on behalf of FOA. FOA may engage other companies to provide services such as financing, marketing, shipping, delivery, web hosting or development, technical support and other support services. FOA reserves the right to provide user information to such companies to the extent it may be necessary for them to provide services to or on behalf of FOA or the user. Any such companies must agree to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information we may provide to them. FOA does not sell, rent, or trade any information with these third parties.
FOAGroup.com allows users with retailer accounts to download hi-resolution images and assembly instructions for products. Downloading these images constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions upon registration, which include the following: 1) images are protected by copyright and may only be used by the user for promotional purposes of the business he or she is affiliated to; 2) unapproved commercial use of the images is strictly prohibited; and 3) use of images in any obscene or offensive manner is also prohibited.
The Application asks for permission to use your device’s camera. The camera will be used exclusively for scanning QR code and barcode, and will be triggered only when you activate this function.
When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the address you are located within and display your address automatically on the address field at checkout page. We will not share your current location with other users or partners.
If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application.
This permission is for iPay88 plugin. This allows read-only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any phone accounts registered on the device. These information will not be disclosed to any third parties.
Automatically Collected Information
The Application may collect certain information automatically, including the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Yes. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via email, at email@example.com.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at email@example.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
